Alcohol Rehabilitation in Gauteng

Gauteng can be regarded as the heartland of South Africa, with almost a quarter of all the residents living in this small province. Despite the size of the province, it houses the most rehabilitation centres in the country, especially alcohol rehabilitation centres. Due to the size of the province, all the rehabilitation centres are within reach of every household. Alcohol addiction is a very common problem among people living in Gauteng. As a result, it is pivotal to choose an ideal recovery centre when such an addiction takes control of your life.

An Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in Gauteng

Due to its large population, Gauteng has almost 20 centres situated in the province to serve the people in the area. Most of the centres are situated inside the cities of Pretoria and Johannesburg, with specific reasons behind their locations. Only a few centres are located in remote areas to remove the patient from the busy city life and allow them to focus on self-healing. Beethoven Recovery Centre is located outside Pretoria, in a remote location that is surrounded by nature to create a serene environment.

Beethoven Recovery Centre

Beethoven Recovery Centre is a licenced rehabilitation centre and a proud member of the National Hospital Network in South Africa. We are one of the few centres that is removed from the cities in Gauteng, offering a tranquil and peaceful environment for our patients to focus on themselves rather than their surroundings. Situated just outside Pretoria, on the border with the North West Province, our rehabilitation centre has the best of both worlds, being close to the city and settled in the calmness of the great outdoors. We offer a large facility and more than enough space that is complemented by beautiful gardens, the sight of the Magaliesberg Mountains, and adjacent to the Hartbeespoort Dam.

Alcohol Rehabilitation

Once a person comes to the realisation that they are dependent on alcohol, they start to seek answers and solutions. Therefore, Beethoven Recovery Centre has a professional team consisting of doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses to support and guide every patient through the process of alcohol rehabilitation. Our alcohol rehabilitation programme comprises of 2 phases, stretching over 7 weeks in total, and divided into 2 phases. During the first 3 weeks, the patient is guided to realise their dependency and face it, accepting their dependency and learning how to overcome it. This phase is filled with therapy and information sessions in which the patient is guided to a full knowledge of alcohol and its effects on the human body. Therefore, the patient is equipped and empowered to face their alcohol addiction.

The second phase is completely voluntary but highly recommended for every patient, guiding them to focus on finding a new way to sober living wellness, and empowering them to be strong enough to stand up and face life in all its dimensions, free of the ties that bind.

The Focus is on the Patient

First, the patient is central in every part of the programme, as the versatility of the programme permits a unique impact on every patient. Second, everything rotates around the patient’s willingness to fight the dependency. Therefore, the outcome completely relies on the patient. Our programme provides the opportunity for every patient to break free from their alcohol addiction. It is up to the individual to fight and overcome their addiction on their own terms.
