Rehabilitation Unit

Overview

 

The Rehabilitation Unit of Beethoven Recovery Centre can admit patients of 18 years and older. Psychiatric and nursing oversight is available at all times. Patients are guided to Full Recovery and Sober Living Wellness through an integrative model.

A two-phased seven week residential treatment program is preferred, although individual needs will be accommodated in determining the in-patient treatment duration.

Treatment is provided for:

Alcohol abuse
Drug abuse
Prescription medication abuse
Behavioral addictions
Phase 1

A three week intensive program includes: 

  • Contemplation, Commitment and Action
  • Medical examination by our general practitioner
  • Psychological assessment including psychometric testing
  • Psychiatric evaluation if deemed necessary
  • Formulation of an individualized integrative treatment plan

Phase 2

A four week programme focusing on:

  • Maintenance
  • Reintegration
  • Recycling

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • Detoxification
  • 3 Weeks primary care followed by an optional 4 weeks secondary care program
  • Psychiatric evaluation and weekly consultations
  • Medical examination by our general practitioner
  • Implementation of an individualized integrative treatment plan

  • Individual & compulsory group therapy
  • Occupational therapy including music, art, relaxation and skills training
  • Sport and recreational activities:  Swimming, Pool-table, Gymnasium, Table-tennis, Croquet, Volley Ball and Cricket
  • Meetings with patients’ significant others
